Integrated throughout this course is a series of Practice Labs, which allow students to practice their IT skills and demonstrate proficiency in specific tasks and procedures related to configuring and managing Cisco networking equipment. These labs allow the student to perform real-world scenarios to build confidence and competence through hands-on practice within a safe, live-lab environment. Within the practice lab environment, students learn by doing by way of both guided and self-guided tasks within a hosted virtual live environment. Within this environment, students have access to the latest hardware and software that will be found in the real world. Students will learn how to set up and configure switches and routers to ensure smooth functionality of the network. After completion, students will be able to plan and configure different IP ranges for a network and configure Cisco equipment accordingly.
